Human Capital
Our Human Capital team helps Deloitte client service teams support value creation through people's performance. We guide teams in reimagining work, the workforce, and the workplace across the enterprise, and help in transforming HR functions with AI and emerging technology. With the rapid pace of change in today's world, you will help provide insights and enable delivery to address questions such as: How do organizations access, develop, and motivate their workforce? As an Organization Design Consultant, you will use a combination of our global methodology and advanced analytical tools to design and deliver organizational design and strategy solutions to our clients.
Work you’ll do
As a Consultant, Strategy & Transformation on the Organization Workforce & Change team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing organization strategies that support future-state organizational design and service delivery
- Assessing current-state structures, preparing design alternatives, testing options against design criteria, and aligning leadership stakeholders on design selection and implementation
- Applying analytic and visualization tools to evaluate the impact of organization design and decision-making solutions
- Supporting governance design, including the identification, assignment, and implementation of decision-making authority and responsibility for individuals and groups
- Preparing workforce transition plans, job and role designs, competency models, and career paths to support talent transition and organization effectiveness
- Serving as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the organization design process while using generative AI and automation responsibly to improve delivery efficiency, accelerate analysis, and enhance solution quality
The team
The Organization Workforce & Change practice is about transforming the organization to support its business strategy. This involves helping our clients move from where they are today to where they need to be in the future. It could include changing the organization’s culture, modernizing specific functions, and redesigning the organization structure. It will require a combination of change management actions to execute the transformation. To enable our success, it will be critical to use data and insights to inform better ways of working together.
Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in industry or a consulting environment in an advisory role focused on organization design and strategy
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience conducting current-state assessments and needs analyses
- Experience performing organization assessments and work activity analyses
- Experience developing operating models, governance structures, and decision rights
- Experience designing organization structures, jobs, roles, competency models, and career paths
- Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and creating reports, storyboards, or visualizations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or Master of Business Administration
- Experience with analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with organization design technology solutions such as Orgvue or Polinode
- Experience conducting research and benchmarking
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to support analysis or deliverable development
- Experience managing multiple project priorities or workstreams
