Picker / Packer – Job Description

Job Title: Picker / Packer

Department: Warehouse / Logistics

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: Fresher & Experienced both can apply

Job Responsibilities

1. Pick products from racks/shelves according to customer orders.
2. Scan products using a barcode/handheld scanner.
3. Check product name, quantity, quality and expiry where applicable.
4. Pack products safely using appropriate packaging materials.
5. Attach labels and shipping information correctly.
6. Sort and arrange products in the correct warehouse location.
7. Assist with loading/unloading and movement of goods when required.
8. Maintain inventory accuracy and report shortages or damaged products.
9. Keep the warehouse and working area clean and organized.
10. Follow company SOPs, safety rules and shift timings.
11. Achieve daily productivity and accuracy targets.

Eligibility
1. Qualification:



8th/10th Pass or above, depending on company requirement.
2. Age: 18 years and above.
3. Experience: Freshers can apply; warehouse experience is an advantage.
4. Physically fit and comfortable with standing/walking for long hours.
5. Willing to work in rotational/night shifts if required.

Required Skills
1. Positive attention to detail.
2. Basic reading and barcode-scanning ability.
3. Fast and accurate picking/packing.
4. Basic inventory-handling knowledge.
5. Teamwork and time-management skills.
6. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
