The role involves working across transmission, distribution, renewable, and industrial power systems, supporting grid planning, connection, compliance, and operational studies. Key Skills Strong experience in power system analysis for utility, renewable, transmission, distribution, or industrial networks. Strong understanding of load flow, fault level, voltage control, reactive power, stability, protection, and network constraints. Experience with dynamic modelling and simulation of synchronous machines, inverter-based resources (IBRs), renewable plants, BESS, and grid-connected equipment. Experience in power quality and electromagnetic transient (EMT) studies preferred. Strong analytical, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Hands-on experience with PSS E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, and/or ETAP. Roles & Responsibilities Develop, review, and validate power system models for transmission, distribution, renewable, and industrial networks. Perform load flow, short-circuit, contingency, dynamic, power quality, and EMT studies. Support grid connection, network planning, and compliance studies for generation, demand, storage, and industrial connections. Conduct dynamic performance assessments covering generator response, IBR controls, frequency response, control interactions, and voltage stability. Perform power quality studies covering harmonics, flicker, voltage unbalance, resonance, and disturbances. Execute EMT studies for switching events, energisation, fault recovery, insulation coordination, control interactions, and fast transient behaviour. Conduct harmonic analysis,



resonance assessment, harmonic compliance studies, and mitigation studies. Develop, validate, and apply energetic models for solar PV, wind farms, BESS, and associated control systems. Interpret study results and provide technically sound recommendations to clients, utilities, and project stakeholders. Prepare technical reports, study notes, model review comments, and presentations. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, OEMs, developers, and utility stakeholders. Support technical assurance, peer reviews, quality checks, and continuous improvement of study methodologies. Independently manage and deliver complex power system studies and multiple technical workstreams with minimal supervision. Education BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
