Interested candidates, kindly mail to [email protected] Purpose:Responsible for the conceptualization, framing of scope of work, and execution of design, engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, and installation of mechanical equipment, piping, material handling equipment for offshore fixed and floating structures, and subsea valves.Job Accountabilities:Frame the Scope of Work and specifications for mechanical and piping works for offshore fixed and floating structures based on the selected development concept. Participate in Concept and FEED studies to deliver optimized solutions.Manage the execution of design and engineering of mechanical and piping works for offshore fixed and floating structures and subsea valves during various stages of projects.Review Contractor’s/Vendor’s execution plans and manage the execution of manufacturing, fabrication, installation, and testing of mechanical equipment, piping, material handling equipment for offshore fixed and floating structures, and subsea valves.Lead interface management for mechanical package equipment with other disciplines.Review and finalize FAT procedures and organize attendance for all testing, trials, and performance runs.Review and finalize procedures and manage the execution of field testing and pre-commissioning.Manage execution of mechanical, piping, and subsea valve activities, including:Equipment sizing and train configuration studies.Preparation of budgetary cost estimates.Review of engineering deliverables prepared by Engineering Consultants.Technical bid evaluation and recommendation for placement of orders.Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.Identify risks associated with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning,



and implement mitigation measures.Engineering interface management and interdisciplinary coordination for various packages and equipment.Vendor management covering manufacturing, expediting, inspection, final testing, dispatch, and site supervision services.Support the Construction team in installation and pre-commissioning activities.Address field engineering issues and audit observations.Support O&M; in commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and steady-state activities.Undertake root cause analysis for failures and recommend corrective actions.Technical Competencies:Robust experience in the design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and installation of mechanical equipment and piping for offshore structures and subsea valves.Familiarity with design codes and standards relevant to rotating equipment, piping, pressure vessels, and subsea valves.In-depth knowledge of rotating machinery (power generation, gas compression, pumps, etc.) and mechanical static equipment.Knowledge of valves and Special Piping Items (SPI).Familiarity with piping stress analysis.Knowledge of facility layouts for offshore structures.Analytical, teamwork, and positive interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills.Qualification:Candidate should possess a BE/BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.Experience:Candidate should have overall experience of at least 20 years in the Oil & Gas industry, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in O&G; offshore projects.Candidate should have worked on Concept, FEED, detailed engineering, and execution of mechanical and piping works for at least two floating/fixed offshore structures.Candidate should have experience in handling reputed national and international Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Package/Equipment Vendors.Experience in commissioning assistance and troubleshooting of equipment and packages.Interested candidates, kindly mail to [email protected]
