Job Description: Furniture AutoCAD Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our team. In this role, you will turn creative furniture designs and concepts into precise, manufacturing-ready technical drawings and shop drawings. You will collaborate closely with designers and the factory production team to ensure all pieces are built accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Create detailed 2D production drawings, shop drawings, and 3D models using AutoCAD.
- Generate comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) listing all hardware, wood types, and components.
- Produce exploded views, section details, and joinery specifications for the factory floor.
- Collaborate with furniture designers to evaluate design feasibility and manufacturing efficiency.




- Revise and update drawings based on prototype testing or feedback from the production team.

Key Skills & Requirements:-

- Proven experience as a Draughtsman specifically within the furniture or woodworking sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D is mandatory, 3D is highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of furniture joinery, wood materials, hardware components, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent spatial reasoning and math skills for flawless measurement accuracy.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AlphaCAM/CNC software is a major plus.

Experience: 2–5 years preferred
