Site Preparation and Readiness

- Assist the Site Engineer in preparing the site before commencement of installation work.
- Support site layout marking, material shifting, and positioning as per instructions.
- Ensure tools, tackles, and equipment are arranged and ready for installation work.
- Verify installation locations and ensure readiness for structure and equipment installation.
- Maintain site cleanliness and ensure protected working conditions.

2. Installation and Execution Support

- Install module mounting structures (MMS) as per approved drawings and alignment requirements.
- Install solar PV modules safely and ensure proper mounting and tightening.
- Perform DC cable laying, routing, dressing, and termination.
- Assist in inverter installation, AC cabling, and electrical connections.
- Support installation of earthing systems and lightning protection systems.
- Ensure installation work is carried out as per technical instructions and quality standards.

3. Material Handling and Management

- Receive, unload, and handle materials safely without causing damage.
- Shift materials to designated installation locations as required.
- Ensure proper storage and protection of PV modules, inverters, and electrical materials.
- Inform Site Engineer immediately in case of damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
- Prevent material wastage and misuse at site.

4. Quality Compliance and Workmanship

- Perform installation work as per approved drawings and technical standards.
- Ensure proper cable routing, termination, and dressing.
- Ensure structures, modules, and equipment are installed securely and correctly.
- Avoid rework by following correct installation procedures.
- Support quality inspections conducted by Site Engineer and client representatives.

5. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

- Follow all safety procedures and company safety guidelines.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times during site work.
- Report unsafe conditions and hazards immediately to the Site Engineer.




- Participate in toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste materials.

6. Testing and Commissioning Support

- Assist Site Engineer during electrical testing activities such as continuity and insulation resistance tests.
- Support inverter installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Assist in checking cable connections and system readiness before commissioning.
- Support troubleshooting activities during testing and commissioning.

7. Tools and Equipment Management

- Use tools and equipment safely and properly.
- Maintain tools in good working condition.
- Report damaged or faulty tools immediately.
- Ensure tools are properly stored after use.

8. Coordination and Team Support

- Coordinate with Site Engineer and other team members for smooth execution of work.
- Follow instructions provided by Site Engineer and Project Manager.
- Support other technicians and team members when required.
- Maintain discipline and teamwork at site.

9. Documentation and Reporting Support

- Assist Site Engineer in maintaining site records and documentation.
- Support in taking site photographs and maintaining installation records.
- Report daily work progress to Site Engineer.
- Inform Site Engineer about installation issues, material shortages, or site constraints.

10. Client and Inspection Support

- Support Site Engineer during client visits and inspections.
- Assist in rectifying snag points and inspection observations.
- Ensure installation areas are properly maintained during inspections.

11. Discipline and Professional Conduct

- Follow company policies and site rules.
- Maintain discipline and professional behavior at site.
- Ensure punctuality and regular attendance.
- Perform assigned duties responsibly and efficiently.
