The Production Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and improving manufacturing operations to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.

- Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer requirements and production plans.
- Manage manpower, machines, materials, and production resources effectively.
- Monitor production processes and identify bottlenecks, delays, and inefficiencies.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, PPC, and Dispatch teams.
- Track production performance, rejection, rework, downtime, and productivity.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reduce manufacturing costs, material wastage,



rejection, and machine downtime.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Maintain production records, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Train, guide, and motivate production supervisors and shop-floor employees.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of production equipment in coordination with the Maintenance team.
- Support current product introduction, process improvements, and capacity enhancement projects.
