- Office Cleaning – Staff Responsibilities
- Personal Desk & Workstation Keep your own desk clean and organised.
- Do not leave food, cups, wrappers or waste on the desk.
- Keep files, documents and stationery properly arranged.
- Clear unnecessary papers at the end of the day.
- Keep computer, keyboard and mouse reasonably clean.
- Do not keep personal belongings scattered around the workstation.
- Common Areas Do not leave cups, bottles or food in meeting rooms.
- Throw waste only in designated dustbins.
- Keep pantry/common areas clean after use.
- Clean any spill immediately or inform housekeeping.
- Do not leave personal items in corridors, reception or common areas.
- Meeting Rooms Leave the meeting room exactly as you found it.
- Push chairs back after use.
- Remove papers, bottles and cups after meetings.
- Switch off lights, AC and equipment if you are the last person leaving.
- Do not use meeting rooms as storage areas.
- Pantry Wash/rinse your own cup, mug or plate after use.
- Do not leave used utensils in the sink.
- Dispose of food waste properly.
- Keep the microwave, refrigerator and counters clean after use.
- Do not leave open food lying around.




- Files & Documents Do not keep files or confidential papers on the floor.
- Return files to their designated place after use.
- Do not leave confidential documents unattended.
- Dispose of confidential papers only through the designated shredding/waste process.
- Washrooms Maintain basic cleanliness and hygiene.
- Do not throw tissues or other waste outside designated bins.
- Report any leakage, blockage or shortage of supplies immediately.
- End-of-Day Responsibility Transparent your desk before leaving.
- Put files/documents in their proper place.
- Throw away all personal waste.
- Take cups/bottles/food items to the pantry.
- Keep your chair and workstation properly arranged.
- Switch off personal electrical equipment where required.
- Important Rule Housekeeping is responsible for cleaning the office; staff are responsible for not creating unnecessary mess.
- Every employee must clean up after themselves.
- Staff should immediately report any cleaning, maintenance or hygiene issue to the designated admin/housekeeping person.
- No employee should expect housekeeping to repeatedly clean personal mess left by them.
