Job Description: Team Leader - Bank Concurrent Audit (Digital Transaction Monitoring)
Location: Bank Corporate Office, Mindspace IT Park, Airoli, Mumbai
Overview:
We are seeking for agile and experienced Team Leaders to manage a team of 7 staff members responsible for the Concurrent Audit of Digital Transaction Monitoring. The Team Leaders will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, compliance of the audit processes and timely submission of monthly audit report.
Scope of Concurrent Audit - Digital Transaction Monitoring:
The areas to be covered as part of the Concurrent Audit for Digital Transaction Monitoring include:
1. Reviewing closed alerts along with the quality of closure by analysts and reviewers on a daily basis.
2. Reviewing alerts closed by analysts outside the case manager, including reports generated through BIU, manual alerts, or Excel template-based alerts.
3. Reconciling alerts generated by core systems (such as Clari5, FRM, Falcon, etc.) with alerts attended by analysts in respective case managers.
4. Conducting a monthly review of scenario-wise alerts to assess the concentration of alerts in any scenario, perform trend analysis, and identify scenarios with Nil alerts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 7 staff members, ensuring efficient execution of the audit process.
- Conduct process walk-throughs and substantive checking based on the provided scope.
- Utilize detailed audit checklists, report formats, exception reports, system reports, circulars, manuals, and guidelines provided by the Bank to conduct the audit.
- Ensure timely submission of audit reports to the Unit on a monthly basis (both soft and hard copies) before the last day of the succeeding month.
- Review and discuss all issues with the Units and ensure agreement and resolution.
- Monitor the performance of team members and provide necessary guidance and support.
- Maintain clear and effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external audit guidelines and regulations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance audit efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or any related field. An advanced degree or certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in audit, specifically in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of digital transaction monitoring and related audit processes.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using audit and banking software, as well as MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications subject to Maximum of Rs 1.8 Lakhs (Negotiable)
- Leaves Allowed – As per Bank Working Schedule (2nd and 4th Saturday Off)
- Salary Payment Period – 15th to 20th of the Month
