Job Description – Senior Sales Manager (Mumbai Zone)

Experience

8–12+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably with experience managing a sales team and handling the Mumbai market.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales team across the Mumbai Zone. The person will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing business opportunities, managing key customers, monitoring team performance, and ensuring solid market coverage.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and sales management skills, along with a good understanding of the Mumbai market.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team responsible for the Mumbai Zone.
- Drive achievement of sales and revenue targets through effective planning and execution.
- Monitor daily sales activities, customer visits, leads, conversions, and team performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Train, coach, and develop sales team members to improve their productivity and sales skills.




- Ensure proper follow-up on leads and timely conversion of opportunities.
- Coordinate with management, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of sales commitments.
- Take corrective actions where sales performance is below target.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, and accountability within the sales team.

Candidate Profile

- 5–12+ years of sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership/management role.
- Proven experience managing and achieving team sales targets.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with field sales and frequent customer/team visits.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
