We are looking for a Software Networking Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain networking software and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills and a solid understanding of computer networking, network protocols, and Linux systems.

- Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-performance networking software and services.
- Work with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
- Develop and maintain network applications, services, and automation tools.
- Troubleshoot complex network and software issues.
- Analyze network performance, latency, throughput, and reliability.
- Work with Linux networking, sockets, routing, firewalls, and network interfaces.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and automated tests.
- Collaborate with hardware, cloud, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
- Diagnose issues using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, ping, traceroute, iproute2, and network monitoring systems.
- Required SkillsStrong programming experience in C/C++, Python, Go, or Java.
- Good understanding of computer networking and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.




- Knowledge of network programming, sockets, and client/server architectures.
- Familiarity with Git, debugging, testing, and software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Preferred SkillsExperience with SDN, NFV, network virtualization, or cloud networking.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container networking.
- Experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of networking technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, MPLS, or IPv6.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Education & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Typically 2–5 years of experience in software development, networking, or network engineering.
- Key CompetenciesStrong understanding of networking concepts.
- Excellent coding and debugging abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across both software and network layers.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced engineering environment.
