Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, support, and solutions to end-users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Provide technical support for operating systems, software applications, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software faults.
- Respond to queries via ticketing system, phone, email, or in person.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate complex problems to higher-level support when needed.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory.
- Assist with setup of video conferencing, remote support, and collaboration tools.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and service logs.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems.
