We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer / Lead / Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Python programming. The candidate should have proven experience in building scalable data platforms and data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

Ontology is a Good-to-Have skill and is NOT mandatory.

Mandatory Skills
1. Microsoft Fabric - Must Have
Minimum 6+ years of real hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
Strong practical experience across Microsoft Fabric components such as:
Fabric Lakehouse
Fabric Warehouse
OneLake
Fabric Data Factory / Pipelines
Notebooks
Dataflows Gen2
Spark
Fabric SQL
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms on Microsoft Fabric
Strong understanding of Fabric architecture, data ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption
Experience with data modeling, data pipelines and data platform architecture
Hands-on troubleshooting and performance optimization in Fabric environments

2. Python Programming - Must Have
Strong hands-on Python programming skills
Candidate must be comfortable writing Python code during the technical interview
Experience using Python for:
Data processing
Data transformation
Automation
ETL/ELT workflows
Data validation
API/data integration
Strong understanding of Python programming concepts, functions,



data structures and exception handling

3. Data Engineering - Must Have
Strong understanding of modern Data Engineering principles
Experience designing and building scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric

ETL/ELT
Batch and incremental data processing
Data pipelines
Data ingestion
Data transformation
Data modeling
Data quality
Performance optimization
Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
Understanding of enterprise data architecture and data platform best practices

Ontology / Knowledge Graph / Fabric Data Agents
Understanding or hands-on experience with Ontology
Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs
Experience with Fabric Data Agents
Understanding of semantic modeling and connecting enterprise data to AI/agent-based solutions
Experience building solutions around knowledge-driven data platforms
