Job Summary

Role and responsibilities: strong hands-on expertise in SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services). Solid understanding of BODS architecture, repositories, job servers, and management console. Hands-on experience in designing and developing ETL jobs, workflows, and dataflows. Strong experience in data migration projects, preferably ECC to S/4HANA or legacy to SAP systems. Good knowledge of Data Quality components including cleansing packages, validations, and transforms. Experience integrating SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, BW) and non-SAP sources (flat files, databases). Knowledge of scripting, error handling, logging, and exception management in BODS. Ability to analyze data issues and work with functional teams to resolve inconsistencies.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support ETL solutions using SAP BODS.
- Develop data migration objects for master data and transactional data.
- Configure and manage repositories, job servers, schedules, and transports.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Perform performance tuning of jobs and optimize large-volume data loads.
- Support testing phases (Unit, SIT, UAT)



and production cutover activities.
- Monitor daily loads and resolve job failures and data errors.
- Prepare technical documentation, data mapping specifications, and migration reports.
- Collaborate with Basis, functional, and reporting teams during projects.

Requirements
