Job Description:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teacher Scientists to join our team to teach primary and middle school students in the USA. This is a remote, work-from-home position requiring teachers to work the US shift hours as mentioned at the bottom.

Who is a Teacher Scientist?

A teacher scientist is an educator who combines the roles of a teacher and a scientist. They integrate scientific research and principles into their teaching practices, aiming to provide students with a deep understanding of scientific concepts and methodologies. At The Little Scientists, we don't have teachers; we have "The Teacher Scientists."

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and effective online science lessons to primary and middle school students in the USA.
- Teach in 1:1 Private and 1:5 group batches.
- Utilize strong pedagogical and conceptual knowledge to enhance student learning.
- Integrate technical tools and platforms for online teaching and student engagement.
- Prepare and execute lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and interactive learning environment.
- Run peer 2 peer reviews.
- Contribute in Curriculum development and enhancement.

Requirements:





- Graduation and Master's degree with any field of Science as a compulsory subject.
- Strong pedagogical and conceptual knowledge in Science.
- Proficiency in using online teaching tools and technologies.
- Prior experience in teaching is preferred.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students in an online environment.

Location: Remote - Work from Home (WFH)- Anywhere in India

Shift:

- Tuesday - Friday: 1:30 am - 10:30 am IST
- Saturday - Sunday: 6:00 pm - 3:00 pm IST
- Monday Weekly off

Salary Range: 25,000 - 35,000 per month plus incentives based on experience
