Role Description This full-time, on-site role for a General Surgeon & Laparoscopic Surgeon is based at SREE SARAN MEDICAL CENTER in Tiruppur. The professional in this role will perform general and laparoscopic surgical procedures, manage pre-operative and post-operative care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop protected and effective treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing surgeries, monitoring recovery,



and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and hospital policies. The surgeon will also participate in case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and may contribute to community health programs and outreach activities organized by the center.
Qualifications
Experience in all laparoscopic surgeries
Candidates should possess strong skills in Medicine and Surgery, including expertise in general and laparoscopic procedures.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery to support multidisciplinary surgical care when required.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Ophthalmology and other related specialties to collaborate effectively in a multi-specialty hospital environment.
Relevant medical degree (MBBS) with recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery; additional training or certification in Laparoscopic Surgery is highly desirable.
Valid medical registration and licensure, with sound knowledge of current clinical guidelines, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Demonstrated experience in hospital-based surgical practice, strong clinical judgment, and ability to work effectively in high-volume settings.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, commitment to ethical practice, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Willingness to participate in community health initiatives and continuous professional development.
