EduCrypt — EdTech SaaS Platform
Experience
10+ years
Reports To
Head of Engineering / Product Leadership
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager to own end-to-end delivery for EduCrypt, our EdTech SaaS platform. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable in sprint rooms and in architecture discussions — driving planning and execution across a large, cross-functional development team while staying hands-on enough to understand infrastructure, code, and quality risks well enough to challenge them.
Key Qualifications
10+ years of experience in technical project / delivery management, including at least one stint managing a large development team.
Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure — core services, workplace setup, scaling, cost, and reliability trade-offs, sufficient to hold informed conversations with DevOps/SRE.
Working understanding of MySQL and MongoDB — schema thinking, indexing basics, and when to reach for relational vs. document stores.
Working understanding of Node.js / Nest.js — able to read code, review PRs at a conceptual level, and reason about API and service design.
Working understanding of Laravel — enough to support legacy/PHP-stack conversations and cross-stack delivery planning.
Having good understanding of Android, iOS and Web development.
Solid grounding in both manual and automation testing, and hands-on experience building test plans and QA strategy.
Understanding of application security and VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) — able to interpret findings, prioritize remediation, and track closure.
Demonstrated capability managing all development team across multiple pods/squads.
Strong track record in sprint planning and execution — backlog grooming, estimation,
velocity tracking, and release management.
Excellent communication skills — able to translate between engineering, QA, security, and business stakeholders.
Direct exposure to AI-assisted development — using AI tools to write, review, or accelerate code, and comfort evaluating AI-generated output.
Familiarity with AI workflows — prompt-driven development processes, AI-in-the-loop QA/documentation, and evaluating where AI fits into the delivery pipeline.
1–2 products' worth of ownership experience, with 3+ years on at least one product from a similar stage (SaaS / EdTech preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Own delivery planning, sprint execution, and release tracking across the EduCrypt engineering team.
Translate product requirements into technical documentation, test plans, and execution-ready tickets.
Coordinate manual and automation QA efforts; review test coverage and sign off on release readiness.
Track and triage production issues; drive root-cause analysis and ensure timely resolution and feedback loops.
Partner with security/VAPT vendors or internal teams to track vulnerability remediation.
Monitor AWS infrastructure health and costs in coordination with DevOps, flagging risks early.
Produce regular status reports, delivery dashboards, and data-driven insights for leadership.
Champion the use of AI tools within the team to improve coding velocity, QA, and documentation quality.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release/deployment governance (change management, rollback planning).
Familiarity with EdTech-specific concerns: DRM/content protection (e.g., Widevine/HLS), payment gateway integrations, and data privacy for student data.
Exposure to Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum-of-Scrums) given the 40+ team size.
Basic financial/commercial literacy (budget tracking, P&L; or delivery-cost accountability).
