Positions: Security Supervisor / Security Guard

To ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, hotel premises, assets, and property by maintaining effective security procedures and monitoring all activities within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities – Security Supervisor

- Supervise and guide the security team during all shifts.
- Prepare duty rosters and allocate guards to designated areas.
- Monitor entry and exit points of guests, employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activities immediately.
- Ensure proper security checks and maintain visitor records.
- Monitor staff and vendor movement as per hotel procedures.
- Handle security incidents, emergencies, and accidents promptly.
- Coordinate with Police, Fire Department, and other authorities when required.
- Conduct regular briefing and training for security personnel.
- Ensure all security equipment is in working condition.
- Maintain daily security logs, incident reports, and shift handover records.
- Ensure compliance with hotel security SOPs and safety standards.
- Report any security-related issue immediately to the management.

Key Responsibilities – Security Guard

- Maintain security at assigned posts and designated areas.
- Monitor entry and exit of employees, guests, visitors, and vendors.
- Check staff/vendor passes and authorization where required.
- Conduct regular patrols and report any suspicious activity.
- Monitor CCTV and security areas as assigned.
- Maintain visitor and vehicle entry records.




- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Assist during emergencies, fire incidents, and evacuation procedures.
- Protect hotel property, equipment, and assets from loss or damage.
- Maintain discipline and professional conduct at all times.
- Immediately report incidents or unusual activities to the Security Supervisor.
- Follow all hotel security and safety procedures.

Skills & Competencies

- Positive observation and alertness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Basic knowledge of fire and safety procedures.
- Good discipline and professional conduct.
- Ability to work in shifts, including night shifts.
- Teamwork and leadership skills for the Supervisor position.

Qualification & Experience

- Security Supervisor: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant security experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Security Guard: Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience; freshers with suitable security training may also be considered.
- Ex-servicemen candidates are preferred.
- Relevant security training/certification will be an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
