Rainbow School, Nellore is looking for a passionate and experienced Physical Education Teacher with specialization in Football, Basketball & Taekwondo, who can inspire students to develop physical fitness, sporting excellence, discipline, and a competitive mindset.

Position

Physical Education Teacher – Football | Basketball | Taekwondo

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct structured Physical Education and sports training sessions for students across different age groups.
- Develop students' skills in Football, Basketball, and Taekwondo, along with fitness, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Prepare and coach students for CBSE Cluster, District, State, and National-level competitions.
- Plan age-appropriate training programmes and monitor student performance and progress.
- Handle sports teams and support students participating in inter-school and competitive events.
- Ensure proper safety practices during training sessions, competitions, and sports activities.
- Promote discipline, confidence, teamwork, and a positive sporting culture.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of the school's sports calendar and athletic events.
- Support CBSE Grade 12 Physical Education academic requirements,



including experience with Board Examination preparation and related assessment processes.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree/Diploma in Physical Education (B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed. preferred).
- Relevant coaching certification or recognized qualification in Football, Basketball and/or Taekwondo.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching/coaching experience, preferably in a school workplace.
- Experience handling CBSE Grade 12 Board Examination preparation and academic responsibilities is preferred.
- Experience in coaching students for CBSE Cluster and other competitive sporting events will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, mentoring, leadership, and student-management skills.
- Passion for developing young athletes and nurturing sporting talent.
