The outdoor recreation industry includes fishing, wildlife, boating, water sports, snow sports, hunting, ATV, hiking, and biking. We are starting with the fishing vertical in the outdoor recreation industry. The product manager will work with professional guides throughout the United States and enthusiasts in all fishing varieties. Responsibilities:

1. Test Strategy & Planning:

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies.

- Ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements and user stories.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality metrics and goals.

2. Test Execution & Monitoring:

- Oversee and participate in manual and automated testing efforts (functional, regression, performance, security, etc.).

- Ensure testing of software across multiple environments, platforms, and devices.

- Implement test automation frameworks and strategies when applicable.

3. Bug Tracking & Reporting:

- Ensure all identified defects are properly logged, categorized, and tracked in the bug-tracking system (e.g., JIRA).

- Generate and analyze test reports to assess product quality, stability, and defect trends.

- Communicate findings to development teams and stakeholders.

4. Process Improvement:





- Continuously identify areas for improvement in testing processes and methodologies.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and testing tools to enhance team performance.

- Work to reduce the cost and time of testing while maintaining high standards of quality.

5. Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, Design, etc.) to ensure alignment on quality expectations.

- Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases and coordinate testing activities with other teams.

- Provide regular updates to leadership on the state of product quality and QA team performance.

6. Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality objectives.

- Assign and track tasks, ensuring completion within agreed deadlines.

- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

Technical Skills:

- Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Cypress).

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA processes.

- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and microservices architecture. (Optional)

- Experience in mobile testing (iOS, Android). (Mandatory)

Required skills and qualifications:

- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- Five years of experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.

- 15+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles.

- 5+ years in a team leading role within QA.
