Job Summary

We are looking for a Legal Associate with 2–3 years of experience in legal contracting and contract management. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in legal drafting, contract review, negotiation, legal research, due diligence, and legal risk assessment.

Experience in the environmental domain is an added advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various commercial and legal agreements.
- Handle NDAs, Service Agreements, MoUs, Term Sheets, Investment Agreements, Partnership Agreements, Shareholder Agreements, JV Agreements, Sale & Purchase Agreements, Lease Agreements, and Employment Contracts.
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including preparation, review, negotiation, execution, monitoring, renewal, and compliance.
- Conduct legal research and due diligence and provide practical legal recommendations.
- Review contractual terms, identify legal and commercial risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.




- Prepare legal reports, contract summaries, legal opinions, risk assessments, and other documentation.
- Maintain contract trackers, legal repositories, and filing registers.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on legal matters and document requirements.
- Develop an understanding of carbon credit legal frameworks, including VCS and Gold Standard.
- Manage assigned legal matters and workstreams under senior legal review.

Mandatory Requirements

- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in legal contracting or contract management.
- Strong legal drafting, contract review, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust legal research and analytical skills.
