Job Title: Associate Director – Legal Experience

- 12+ years of relevant legal experience (preferably in technology, corporate, and HR functions)

Role Overview

The Associate Director – Legal will be responsible for providing strategic legal support across technology, business functions, and HR. The role involves managing legal risks, advising stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology & Commercial Contracts

- Draft, review, and negotiate technology agreements (SaaS, licensing, IT services, data protection agreements)
- Support RFPs, RFQs, MSAs, and vendor/customer contracts
- Advise on data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance matters

2. Business & Functional Support

- Provide legal guidance to internal business teams on day-to-day operations
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in commercial arrangements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives

3. HR & Employment Law

- Advise on employment laws,



policies, and employee relations matters
- Support disciplinary actions, investigations, and dispute resolution
- Review and update HR policies, employment contracts, and employment handbooks
- Liaise with external counsel on employment matters

4. Compliance & Governance

- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and internal policies
- Support audits and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks and training

Skills & Competencies
- Solid contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Sound knowledge of technology law, corporate law, and employment law
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and risk awareness

Education
- LLB / LLM from a recognized university
