Job Title: SAP MM Consultant (African Client Experience)

Sage Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant with hands-on experience in supporting and implementing SAP solutions for African clients/projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP Materials Management processes, procurement lifecycle management, inventory control, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and provide SAP MM solutions aligned with client needs.
- Configure and customize SAP MM modules including:
- Procurement Process
- Purchase Requisitions
- Purchase Orders
- Vendor Evaluation
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Management Integration

- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, support, and enhancement projects.
- Gather business requirements and prepare Functional Specifications.
- Conduct system testing, UAT support, and user training sessions.
- Collaborate with technical teams for developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and workflows.
- Support data migration activities and master data management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including SAP FICO, SD, PP, WM, and ABAP.
- Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.




- Interact with African stakeholders and business users to ensure smooth project delivery.

SAP Expertise

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and support.
- Experience in:
- Procurement Cycle (P2P)
- Inventory Management
- Material Master
- Vendor Master
- Pricing Procedures
- Release Strategy
- Service Procurement
- Subcontracting Process
- Stock Transfer Orders
- Physical Inventory

Integration Knowledge

- SAP MM integration with:
- SAP FICO
- SAP SD
- SAP PP
- SAP WM/EWM

Project Experience

- Minimum 1-2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
- Experience in SAP rollouts and support projects.
- Experience working with African clients/projects is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- SAP MM Certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and global delivery environment.
