Deputy Manager, Store & Inventory Management

About Us:
Planys Technologies is an IIT Madras-incubated deep-tech company building indigenously manufactured underwater ROVs and AUVs for robotic inspection and survey. We're looking for a hands-on Deputy Manager to own our store and inventory function end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day store operations — inventory, material movement, and documentation using ABC analysis
- End-to-end inventory control: receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, and recording stock
- Maintain stock registers, GRNs, inward/outward entries, and ERP records (Zoho Inventory or similar)
- Coordinate with procurement on material plans and warehouse layout allocation
- Conduct stock audits, cycle counts,



and reconciliation for zero discrepancies
- Ensure FIFO/LIFO practices and safety/quality compliance
- Verify invoices, bills, and consumption reports for finance/audit
- Lead store assistants and handlers; enforce SOP discipline
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS and inventory reports
- Drive inventory optimization to reduce stock-outs and excess/obsolete stock
- Track tools, consumables, spares, and project-specific equipment

Must-Have:

- B.Com / BCA / MBA or any graduate
- Hands-on ERP software experience (Zoho Inventory/SAP or similar)
- At least one stint in a manufacturing/product company — EMS, Semiconductor, Automotive, Electrical, or Electronics
- Fluent in English & Tamil
