1) Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Automic Developer to lead solution design, detailed design, development, and platform modernization for Broadcom Automic Workload Automation. The role includes major upgrade execution, engineering governance, production stability, and mentoring juniors, while ensuring solid documentation and audit readiness. The candidate must be hands-on and able to operate in both BAU (L3 support) and change/project delivery modes.

2) Key Responsibilities
A. Solution Design (HLD / Architecture)
• Own solution design for workload automation use cases including:
o Batch orchestration, event-based scheduling, dependencies, calendars, and cross-application coordination
• Define end-to-end automation approach:
o Job design strategy, failure handling, restartability, alerting, and SLAs
• Provide platform design inputs for:
o Environment layout, component sizing considerations,



and operational model
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans for complex automations and upgrade initiatives
B. Detailed Design (LLD / TDD)
• Produce LLD/TDD with:
o Object inventory, workflow logic, dependencies, error paths, and notification matrix
• Create/review runbooks, support playbooks, SOPs, validation checklists, and deployment procedures
• Drive standardization:
o Naming standards, reusable templates, and workflow design patterns
C. Development & Implementation (HandsOn Automic Engineering)
• Build and maintain Automic automation objects (as applicable to your environment):
o JOBS, JOBP workflows, JSCH schedules, Events, Calendars, Variables, Prompts, Notifications, and Access controls
