vConstruct, a Pune based Construction Technology company seeks a proactive, process-oriented and technically sound on-site L1/L2 IT Support Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure Support team. This role offers hands-on exposure to hardware deployment, troubleshooting, IT logistics, day to day support for AV equipment, laptops, Phones, and other IT hardware including but not limited to end user in regional office via in-person support. Youll work closely with experienced engineers to ensure smooth operation of field systems and gain valuable experience in real-world IT environments.

Responsibilities

- Infrastructure Support: Assist in the staging, configuration, and physical deployment of IT hardware (Workstations and Networking gear). Guidance will be provided on call when necessary. Install and maintain equipment/networks at different offices, if necessary, manage the mobilization/demobilization of IT equipment as and when needed, and coordinate infrastructure design with project teams.
- End User Support: Provide day-to-day on-site technical assistance to the end users, handle L1/L2 support ensuring that project-specific hardware and software are functioning optimally. Provide assistance with IT Logistics support in the conference room, hardware troubleshooting as guided over the call, able to replace general faulty hardware like batteries, memory, etc. Escalate cases to vendors relating to hardware or network issues.
- Ticketing & Documentation: Track incidents and assets in ticketing tools, document best practices, ensure system security, and participate in company-wide IT projects when necessary.
- Customer Service:



End user assistance or training if required, Co-ordination with stake holders, maintain strong user relationships, and ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.
- Assets & IT Onboarding Support: New hire onboarding and exit employee assistance, collecting assets from exit employees to provision or issue assets to new hires during their onboarding. System provisioning or OS installations as per standard operating procedures (SOP). Collaboration with Assets Management team on providing them with IT stock numbers, ensure laptops are ready to use in stock and report any requirements to asset management team to ensure Assets are always available.

Requirements

- Experience: 2+ years in technical support or relevant IT infrastructure support. Experience in the AEC industry is a plus.
- Education & Certifications: Computer Science (or equivalent) is preferred, A+/Network+, ITIL (Preferred)
- Conditions: The role requires flexibility to travel and work in offices within city and possibility to travel to remote offices when necessary
- Skills: Knowledge in networking, hardware, Microsoft Office 365, and troubleshooting Windows/MAC.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar field




- Have knowledge and passion with technology
- Strong interest in hardware support, and field operations.
- Knowledge of mobile device management, asset management practices, network and systems
- Hands-on skills with Dell/HP Laptop/workstation and peripherals, Capable to support on Mac OS, Windows (Primarily) or basic hardware troubleshooting
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 products, Outlook, Teams, Power Bi, OneNote, etc.
- Basic troubleshooting with designing apps like Tekla, Autodesk Products, Adobe, etc.
- Understands troubleshooting methods with logic and has passion to resolve IT issues
- Willingness to learn and grow with technological advancements
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision or guidance
- Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills & Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Effective participation in team environment & A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
- Comfortable to travel as and when necessary to multiple offices in and outside multiple cities
