Job Description – Senior Accountant
Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Sakinaka Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Management
Handle end-to-end accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and
reconciliations.
Ensure timely posting of entries, monthly closing, and preparation of financial
statements.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, including return filings.
Coordinate with internal teams and auditors during internal and statutory audits.
2. Cash Flow & Payment Management
Monitor daily cash flow, prepare weekly/monthly cash flow projections.
Oversee vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and online transactions.
Ensure timely processing of all payments through online banking portals.
Manage fund allocation and maintain adequate liquidity for operations.
3. Banking Operations
Handle day-to-day banking activities including transfers, deposits, and bank
reconciliations.
Manage relationships with banks for operational matters and financial requirements.
Ensure smooth processing of inward/outward remittances.
4. LC, BG & Trade Finance Management
Preparation, submission, and monitoring of Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank
Guarantees (BGs).
Coordinate with banks for issuance, amendments,



or closures of LCs/BGs.
Track expiry dates and ensure compliance with bank/contractual requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and records for all trade finance activities.
5. Online Management & ERP Handling
Manage online accounting systems, banking portals, and payment gateways.
Work on ERP/Tally/other accounting software for daily operations.
Ensure data accuracy and timely system updates.
6. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, receivable/payable ageing reports, and
financial analysis for management review.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and banking operations.
Hands-on experience with LCs, BGs, and trade finance.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and online banking systems.
Excellent analytical, communication, and team-coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
Additional Requirements:
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage high-volume transactions.
