- Coordinate with NPCIL and concerned departments for work-front availability and smooth execution of painting activities.
- Plan and organize daily painting activities based on the approved work schedule and available work fronts.
- Supervise painters, helpers, and other site manpower and ensure effective utilization of the workforce.
- Maintain required manpower at site and allocate workers according to work priorities.
- Monitor the quality and progress of surface preparation, primer application, painting, touch-up, and related activities.
- Provide technical assistance to the workforce for proper execution of painting works as per approved specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with NPCIL/site engineers regarding technical issues, work-front requirements, inspections, and clearances.
- Prepare and maintain departmental/project documentation, including:
- Daily work-progress reports
- Manpower reports
- Material/paint consumption records
- Work-front status
- Work completion/progress records
- Other documents required by the project/site department
- Monitor paint and consumable usage and maintain accurate material consumption records.
- Track daily and monthly work progress against planned targets.
- Identify delays, constraints, and work-front issues and coordinate with the concerned departments for timely resolution.
- Ensure achievement of monthly work-progress targets within the planned schedule.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper housekeeping and protected working practices.
- Coordinate with safety, quality, and other site teams as required.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and site instructions.
- Report daily progress, manpower status, material consumption, and site issues to management.
