Role & responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor plant-wise manpower plans and HR budgets.
- Lead recruitment for managerial, technical, supervisory and shop-floor positions.
- Manage employee onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers and exits.
- Ensure accurate attendance, leave, overtime, payroll inputs and salary processing.
- Maintain compliance with PF, ESI, minimum wages, bonus, gratuity, contract labour and applicable labour laws.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, absenteeism and industrial relations.
- Implement performance appraisal, KRAs, training and skill-development systems.
- Monitor contract labour documentation, deployment, wages and compliance.
- Standardise HR policies and processes across all locations.
- Present monthly HR MIS covering manpower, vacancies, attrition, absenteeism, overtime, cost and compliance.
Preferred candidate profile
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 1218 years of HR experience, preferably in automotive, engineering or manufacturing.
- At least 45 years in an HR leadership role.
- Experience managing multiple plants and a large blue-collar workforce.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, factory compliance and industrial relations.
- Positive communication, leadership, documentation and Excel/HRMS skills.
- Willingness to travel between company locations.

- Timely closure of vacancies.
- Control of attrition, absenteeism, overtime and manpower cost.
- Accurate and timely payroll.
- Zero major statutory non-compliance.
- Improved employee discipline, engagement and productivity.
