Job Overview:

We are looking for a Legal Associate who will be responsible for legal drafting, documentation, and handling recovery-related communications. The role involves coordinating with clients, preparing legal notices, and assisting in debt recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Drafting & Documentation

- Draft legal notices, agreements, affidavits, and other legal documents
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Maintain proper documentation and case records

2. Recovery Calling & Follow-ups

- Conduct recovery calls to clients/customers regarding outstanding payments
- Negotiate payment terms and follow up for timely settlements
- Maintain call records and recovery status reports

3. Case Coordination

- Assist in handling legal recovery cases (civil/financial matters)
- Coordinate with advocates, clients, and internal teams




- Prepare case summaries and updates

4. Compliance & Support

- Ensure adherence to legal procedures and company policies
- Support senior legal team in ongoing matters

Required Skills:

- Strong legal drafting and research skills
- Valuable communication and negotiation abilities
- Basic knowledge of civil and recovery laws
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

- LL.B. (mandatory)
- Enrollment with Bar Council (preferred but not mandatory for freshers)

Preferred Profile:

- Experience in legal recovery, NBFC, banking, or law firm
- Exposure to debt recovery processes and legal notices
- Confident in handling telephonic conversations with clients
