Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on System & Network Administrator with 24 years of experience to manage day-to-day IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, networking, firewall, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy; manage user access, onboarding, offboarding, and patching.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and Sophos Firewall, including rules, NAT, VPN, and ISP failover.
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID users, licenses, mailboxes, MFA, and Conditional Access.
- Administer endpoint security using Defender or equivalent EDR, patching, and device compliance.
- Monitor backups, network health, and firewall logs; maintain IP, VLAN, and system documentation.
- Handle L1 and L2 infrastructure tickets for systems, network, Wi-Fi, and VPN; coordinate with vendors and ISPs through to resolution.




- Handle L1 application-support tickets: log and replicate user-reported issues, route them to the right vendor, and follow through to resolution.
- Manage IT assets across their lifecycle, including procurement, allocation, and AMC or vendor contracts.

Technical Skills

Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Hyper-V or VMware, LAN, WAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, VPN, Sophos Firewall, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, MFA; basic Azure or AWS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, with 2–4 years of hands-on system and network administration experience. Solid troubleshooting, communication, and vendor-coordination skills; CCNA, AZ-900, or Network+ preferred.
