We (TUV SUD) are looking for our upcoming projects/tender/bidding:
1. Environmental and Social Safeguards Experts
Advanced degree in environmental/social sciences, engineering, conservation, anthropology, sociology, infrastructure planning, natural-resource management, forestry, disaster-risk management, public or occupational health and safety, environmental law, economics or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental and social due diligence.
Experience in designing, implementing, assessing, reviewing and monitoring safeguards for projects and programmes.
2. Gender Mainstreaming Experts
Advanced university degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in gender equality and mainstreaming.
Experience integrating gender considerations throughout the project/programme cycle.
Experience reviewing gender assessments, Gender Action Plans, funding proposals and project-performance reports.
Experience mainstreaming gender within organizational systems, policies, procedures and guidance documents.
Experience in policy development and capacity-building activities.
3. Indigenous Peoples Experts
Advanced university degree or equivalent experience in environmental or social sciences, anthropology or another discipline related to Indigenous Peoples.
Minimum 10 years of experience working on Indigenous Peoples issues.
Community-level experience,
preferably in regions where GCF-financed activities are implemented.
Experience in environmental and social due diligence using established safeguard standards, particularly IFC Performance Standard 7.
Experience reviewing Indigenous Peoples Plans, meaningful consultation, FPIC processes and culturally appropriate benefit-sharing arrangements.
Experience in policy development, performance reviews and capacity building.
4. SEAH Experts
Advanced university degree in social sciences, gender studies, anthropology, human rights, law or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in gender-based violence, protection, human rights or legal work, preferably including SEAH.
Experience applying established SEAH risk-identification and mitigation standards. Experience reviewing project proposals, SEAH risk assessments, protection plans, procedures and project-performance reports.
Experience in policy development, implementation and capacity-building activities. Previous consulting experience with international or multilateral organizations would be preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Experience with international, multilateral, regional or climate-finance institutions. Experience in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, or Latin America and the Caribbean would be preferred.
Proficiency in another UN language would be an advantage.
