Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Technical / Techno-Functional Consultant with 5+ years of SAP experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP MDG solutions across master data domains such as Business Partner, Customer, Supplier/Vendor, Material, and Finance.

The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of MDG technical development and functional/process knowledge, with experience in Data Modeling, Process Modeling, UI Modeling, BRF+, Workflow, Validations & Derivations, DRF, ABAP, and SAP integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and support SAP MDG solutions.
- Work on end-to-end SAP MDG implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support activities.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Work with MDG master data domains including:
- Business Partner
- Customer
- Supplier/Vendor
- Material
- Finance Master Data





- Configure and enhance MDG Data Models, including standard and custom entities.
- Configure Change Request (CR) types, approval processes, validations, derivations, and workflows.
- Develop and configure BRF+ rules, decision tables, validations, and derivations.
- Work on Rule-Based Workflow and workflow agent determination.
- Perform ABAP development, debugging, enhancements, BAdIs, BAPIs, Function Modules, and User Exits.
- Develop and enhance MDG UI using FPM, Web Dynpro ABAP, and Fiori.
- Configure and troubleshoot Data Replication Framework (DRF).
- Work on key mapping, value mapping, IDoc, ALE, RFC, SOAP/Web Services, and APIs.
- Integrate SAP MDG with SAP ECC / S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
- Support data migration, data cleansing, enrichment, validation, and data quality activities.
- Troubleshoot MDG workflow, UI, validation, derivation, replication, and integration issues.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Prepare technical specifications, functional documents, test scenarios, and support documentation.
- Collaborate with SAP MM, SD, FI/CO, ABAP, Basis, Integration, and Business teams.
- Participate in client discussions and provide effective technical/functional solutions.
- Provide production support and perform root-cause analysis for critical MDG issues.
