Purpose/Objective

The Field Medical Officer will lead the medical and health services at the Mahan site, ensuring the well-being of employees and contractors.
This role is pivotal in maintaining a healthy workforce, reducing downtime due to health issues, and aligning with Adani Power’s mission of creating sustainable value for all stakeholders.
The role will also support the business unit’s operational excellence by providing timely medical interventions and promoting health awareness programs tailored to the unique needs of a large-scale thermal power plant environment.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Oversee and manage the in office medical center, ensuring it is equipped and staffed to handle emergencies and routine health issues effectively.
- Develop and implement health and wellness programs aimed at improving employee well-being and reducing absenteeism.
- Conduct regular health check-ups and maintain accurate medical records for all employees and contractors.
- Provide immediate medical care and first aid in case of workplace injuries or emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Site HR Head to design and execute health awareness campaigns,



focusing on occupational health risks specific to thermal power plant operations.
- Ensure the medical center complies with all internal standards and aligns with Adani Power’s focus on operational excellence and sustainability.
- Train and guide first responders and safety teams on emergency medical procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and manage health-related KPIs, such as incident response times and employee health indices, to support the site’s operational goals.
- Liaise with external medical facilities and specialists to ensure advanced care when required.
- Stay updated on the latest medical practices and technologies relevant to industrial health services

Technical Competencies

Collaborate on health and wellness programs and align medical services with HR policies.
,Expertise in Factory Medical Services,In-depth knowledge of occupational health standards and practices.

Qualifications and Experience

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- AFIH - Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (Mandatory) - Additional certification in Occupational Health or Industrial Medicine is preferred.
