Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees across multiple business units and locations.
- Ensure accurate processing of salaries, incentives, reimbursements, bonuses, arrears, Full & Final settlements, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all payroll-related statutory requirements including:
- Provident Fund (EPF)
- Employees' State Insurance (ESI)
- Professional Tax (PT)
- Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
- Income Tax (TDS)
- Gratuity
- Bonus
- Leave Encashment
- EDLI

- Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns, challans, and compliance reports.
- Handle payroll audits, statutory audits, labour inspections, and internal compliance reviews.
- Manage payroll reconciliations with Finance and Accounts.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, IT, and external payroll vendors for seamless payroll execution.
- Maintain payroll master data, employee records, and payroll controls with high accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, wage regulations, and company policies.
- Drive payroll process improvements, automation initiatives,



and system enhancements.
- Generate payroll MIS, dashboards, cost analysis, headcount reports, and management reports.
- Resolve employee payroll queries within defined SLAs.
- Lead payroll-related projects, policy implementation, and annual salary revision exercises.

Required Skills

- Robust expertise in Indian Payroll processing
- Excellent knowledge of EPF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, Labour Laws, and Payroll Taxation
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting and reconciliations
- Experience handling payroll for large employee populations across multiple states
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/Payroll software (SAP, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, Darwinbox, Ramco, ADP, GreytHR, or similar)
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and complex formulas
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
