We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in US building projects. The candidate will be responsible for electrical system design, project coordination, design review, quality control and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for US building/facility projects.
- Work on power distribution, substations, switchgear, transformers, panels and circuiting.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate electrical design with Mechanical, Structural, Architectural and Fire Protection teams.
- Review drawings and ensure design quality.
- Lead and guide junior engineers/designers.
- Participate in client and project meetings.
- Support project planning, estimation and scheduling.
- Provide technical support during construction.
- Conduct site surveys and engineering studies.
- Ensure designs comply with US electrical codes, NEC,
NFPA and applicable building codes.
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of Electrical Design experience.
- Mandatory experience in US building/facility projects.
- Strong experience in building electrical design.
- Good knowledge of US electrical codes, NEC and NFPA.
- Experience in power distribution, MV systems, substations, switchgear and transformers.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience in design coordination and technical review.
- Experience in team handling / project leadership.
- Valuable communication skills and written/spoken English.
Education
BE/B.Tech/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
