Job Description Marketing Executive
Position: Marketing Executive Sales & Business Development
Industry: Plastics / Polymers / Engineering Plastics
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Responsibilities
- Develop recent customers and generate business opportunities in the plastics and polymer industry.
- Handle B2B sales and marketing of engineering plastics and polymers.
- Visit customers regularly and develop strong business relationships.
- Identify potential customers in Automotive, Electrical & Electronics, Consumer Durables, Home Appliances and Plastic Processing industries.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, samples, trials and orders.
- Coordinate with customers regarding product requirements, pricing, delivery and payment follow-up.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare regular customer visit and sales reports.
- Willing to travel frequently for customer visits and business development.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales / Marketing / Business Development.
- Experience in Plastics, Polymers, Engineering Plastics, Chemicals or related industries preferred.
- Basic knowledge of materials such as ABS, PA6, PA66, PBT, PC , PP, GPPS, HIPS, TPU, POM, etc. will be an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of independently developing new customers.
- Two-wheeler and willingness to travel preferred.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / MBA or equivalent qualification.
