Human Resources (HR) Executive – 1+ Year Experience

Job Summary
Lere Academy is looking for a proactive and organized HR Executive with at least 1 year of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee onboarding, attendance management, payroll coordination, HR documentation, ESI & PF-related activities, and supporting day-to-day HR operations while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, selection, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and exit formalities.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and HR policies.
- Coordinate with management/accounts team for monthly payroll processing.
- Handle ESI and PF-related activities, including employee registration, monthly contributions, documentation, and coordination with the relevant authorities or consultants.
- Ensure timely submission of ESI & PF details and related records.
- Maintain accurate employee data required for payroll, ESI, and PF processing.
- Assist in performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Address employee queries related to attendance, leave, payroll, ESI, PF, and other HR matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labour regulations.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain updated HR databases.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
- Practical knowledge of ESI & PF processes is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of HR software is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the education, training, or service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, ESI, and PF is an added advantage.
- Experience coordinating payroll and statutory compliance is a plus.
- HR certification or relevant professional training is an advantage.
