Synopsis of Dynamo
Dynamo is a safety operating system for front-line teams in bp. Dynamo's platform and connected apps allow front-line teams to plan work, perform risk assessments, request work permits, record observations, get alerted on health and safety risks in real-time and share lessons learnt.

Synopsis of role accountabilities:
General Role Expectations
- Operate successfully in an uncertain environment. We are building innovative technological solutions to real world problems, with no best practice solutions. Youll need to know how to push through this uncertainty and be able to revisit decisions if and when they reach their limits.
- Take full ownership of the problem - aggressively identify blockers and missing pieces and can be trusted to see it through to completion.
- Customer-centric - able to see the problem through the eyes of a front line worker and deliver a system that is straightforward to use.
- Hands-on - must be in a hands-on software development role currently and able to hit the ground running on day one.
- Able to communicate well with the rest of the team through clearly implemented code contributions, with well described pull requests
- Reviewing others contributions through pull requests and code walkthroughs
- Writing high level technical descriptions of proposed changes
- Use AI coding tools effectively, taking full ownership of the output. Understand the strengths and weaknesses of frontier models and coding harnesses and how to use them to optimise productivity for the team as a whole.
