Job Purpose

- The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and managing supply plans to ensure optimal product availability while maintaining inventory targets and service levels. The role collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance teams to drive effective planning processes and support business growth.
- Key Responsibilities

- Supply Planning
- Develop short-term and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, inventory levels, and business requirements.
- Review demand forecasts and align supply plans to achieve target customer service levels.
- Analyze demand variability and recommend corrective actions to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Monitor supply constraints and proactively mitigate risks through scenario planning.
- Inventory Management
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives across raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Monitor inventory KPIs including Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), inventory turns, slow-moving and obsolete inventory.




- Ensure inventory levels are aligned with business targets and working capital objectives.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;)
- Prepare supply chain planning reports, capacity analysis, and risk mitigation plans.
- Support consensus demand and supply reviews with key stakeholders.
- Production & Procurement Planning
- Coordinate with manufacturing plants and procurement teams to ensure material availability.
- Develop production and replenishment plans considering capacity constraints and lead times.
- Analytics & Performance Monitoring
- Track and analyze key supply chain KPIs such as:
- Forecast Accuracy
- Service Level (OTIF)
- Inventory Months on hand
- Capacity Utilization
- Supply Plan Adherence
- Generate regular dashboards and management reports for SLT/MRM.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Commercial, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Service teams.
- Support new product launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and promotional planning activities.
- Lead or participate in supply chain improvement projects
