Role & responsibilities

The Associate 1 will be predominantly responsible to -

- Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge

- Understand audit procedures performed by GDC

- Familiarize with audit documentation tool eAudIT

- Familiarize with audit tools/applications used (IDEA, WISDOM,CASEWARE, MS Office)

- Productive and effective performance of audit procedures within the time provided with Quality

- Nominate in self-development activities in technical and project management areas

- Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills

- Participate in / lead team and group activities

- Be an integral part of the GDC teams assigned to US audit engagements

- Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge

- Understand and learn audit procedures performed by GDC

- Maintain effective and timely communication with the onshore and offshore team members.





- Ensure the work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time.

- Maintain the chargeability of hours required to meet the targets set for the year

- Be part of and nominate self in various firm initiatives and activities.

- Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills

- Participate in team and group activities

Preferred candidate profile

This role is for you if you have the below

Educational qualifications

- M.Com/MBA in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%) 2026 pass outs only

Work experience

- 0-1 year of full-time experience with a reputed company / firm
- Duration: for 6 months as a Fixed Term Staff
- Job Location: Bangalore
