About Us:
Planys Technologies designs and builds underwater ROVs/AUVs for robotic inspection. We're hiring a Sr. Executive – Sourcing & Procurement to drive R&D; sourcing and prototype procurement, working closely with our design and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source specialized components, sensors, electronics, mechanical parts, and custom-made items for R&D; projects
- Identify and onboard vendors for low-volume, high-precision, custom manufacturing
- Manage procurement for prototypes, new concepts, trials, and experimental builds
- Convert engineering drawings/specs into explicit RFQs
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams on specifications




- Prepare cost estimates for prototype builds; track cost vs. budget
- Plan procurement timelines aligned to R&D; milestones; track long-lead items
- Ensure incoming inspection quality; drive corrective actions with suppliers
- Maintain RFQs, technical evaluation sheets, PO records, prototype BOMs
- Support transition from prototype BOM to production-ready BOM

Must-Have:

- BE (Mechanical/Electronics) or MBA in SCM
- Strong understanding of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics components
- Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and datasheets
- Proficient in ERP tools (Zoho/ERP NXT) and MS Excel
- At least one stint in a manufacturing/product company — EMS, Semiconductor, Automotive, Electrical, or Electronics
- Fluent in English & Tamil
