Golang Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer with strong experience in backend development, microservices, API development, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Golang, along with positive exposure to databases, distributed systems, containers, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Golang.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and backend components for enterprise applications.
- Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and optimize queries and data access layers.
- Develop distributed and event-driven applications using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
- Implement caching and performance optimization using Redis and other caching mechanisms.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage services using Kubernetes.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP for application deployment and infrastructure integration.
- Implement authentication, authorization, API security, and secure communication mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation and automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor application health, logs, performance,



and availability in production environments.
- Contribute to technical documentation, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Golang / Go programming.
- Good understanding of Go routines, channels, concurrency, interfaces, error handling, and memory management.
- Strong experience in REST API and Microservices development.
- Experience with Gin, Echo, Fiber or similar Go frameworks.
- Good knowledge of gRPC, JSON, HTTP, API integration, and service communication.
- Strong database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of Redis and caching mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-native application development.
- Good understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and distributed systems.

Good to Have

- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS.
- Exposure to Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar DevOps/monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger and API documentation.
- Experience working on high-volume, low-latency, and distributed backend systems.
- Understanding of system design, scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in Golang/backend development, with strong hands-on programming and microservices experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
