Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Java, API Testing, Selenium, and Playwright, along with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks. The candidate will work closely with development, product, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Develop and execute API test cases using tools such as Rest Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Review requirements and provide testing estimates and strategies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality engineering best practices.
- Generate test execution reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.




- Mentor junior QA engineers and support team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with Playwright automation framework.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
- Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of SQL and database validation.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to performance testing tools is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant testing/automation certifications are a plus.
