Role & responsibilities :

Talent Management & Workforce Planning

- Oversee nursing workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and optimal nurse-to-patient ratios across all facilities.
- Partner with Unit Nursing Superintendents/Heads to address staffing needs, turnover, and burnout.
- Design career progression pathways and retention strategies for nursing staff.

Strategic Leadership & Governance

- Establish and drive nursing care standards, policies, and operational protocols across all group hospitals.
- Ensure group-wide compliance with national and international healthcare accreditations (NABH, JCI, NABL).
- Align nursing operations with organizational goals to enhance clinical outcomes and patient experience.

Clinical Operations & Quality Control

- Monitor patient care quality, infection control practices, and patient safety metrics across units.
- Implement clinical audits, track nursing KPIs (e.g., medication errors, fall rates, pressure ulcers), and drive continuous improvement.
- Standardize clinical documentation, handover processes, and emergency response procedures.

Learning & Development

- Lead the Nursing Education & Skill Enhancement framework (CNE programs, simulation training, advanced skill workshops).
- Ensure continuous onboarding, competency assessments, and leadership development for senior nursing staff.





Resource & Financial Management

- Work with hospital leadership to plan annual nursing operational and capital expenditure budgets.
- Optimize resource allocation, medical equipment usage, and consumable utilization without compromising care quality.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Group-wide compliance with NABH / JCI nursing standards.
- Nursing turnover and retention rates.
- Patient satisfaction scores relating to nursing care.
- Reduction in nursing-related clinical incidents and medication errors.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Educational Qualification:
GNM/B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing
- Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA / MBA in Healthcare) is added advantage for the role.
- Active Nursing Council Registration.

- Experience:
Minimum 15+ years in nursing operations, with at least 57 years in a leadership/head role managing multiple units or multi-specialty hospitals .
- Skills & Competencies:

- Robust expertise in NABH / JCI quality standards and clinical audit frameworks.
- Proven track record in multi-site nursing leadership and team management.
- Exceptional crisis management, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HIS (Hospital Information Systems) and digital nursing tools.
