Quality Analyst

Technocrats Horizons is hiring a dedicated Software Tester (Quality Analyst) to join our growing QA team. In this vital role, you will ensure that our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience. Responsibilities

1. Test Planning Execution: Create detailed test cases, execute manual tests, and ensure complete coverage across functionalities.
2. Bug Reporting Tracking: Identify bugs, report them accurately, and follow through with resolution using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
3. Regression Functional Testing: Perform end-to-end testing, regression checks, and validate new features.
4. Cross-Browser Cross-Device Testing: Ensure compatibility of web and mobile apps across various platforms and devices.
5. Collaboration Feedback: Work closely with the development team to provide timely feedback and ensure fixes meet quality standards.
6. Documentation: Maintain clear, structured QA documentation including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
7. Support UAT: Assist in User Acceptance Testing and validate client-reported issues.

Must Have Skills
1. Manual Testing Expertise: Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
2. Bug Reporting Tools: Hands-on knowledge of JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello, or similar platforms.
3. Understanding of SDLC STLC: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and QA processes.
4. Cross-Platform Testing: Experience testing responsive web applications and mobile apps (Android/iOS).
5. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly write test cases, bug reports, and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good To Have Skills
1. Basic Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with Selenium, Postman, or similar tools is a plus.
2. API Testing: Understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
3. Performance Testing Exposure: Experience with tools like JMeter is an added advantage.
4. Mobile App Testing Tools: Knowledge of tools like Appium or Android Studio for app testing.
5. ISTQB Certification: Holding an industry-recognized QA certification is a bonus.

Education Required

Graduate: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, BCA in Any Specialization
Postgraduate: MCA, M.Sc. in IT or related fields
