Job Title: API Automation Tester

Experience: 5-7 Years
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated API test scripts and frameworks.
- Validate RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar automation frameworks.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end API test cases.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Review requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to ensure test coverage.
- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills

- 5-7 years of experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in API Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured, Postman, Java, and TestNG/JUnit.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs,



HTTP methods, JSON, XML, and API validations.
- Experience in automation framework development and maintenance.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Positive understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Microservices architecture.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Basic UI automation experience using Selenium is an added advantage.
