About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Approvals & Project Specifications Executive to drive product approvals and project specifications for Alumaze Elite ACP across Chennai and surrounding markets.

The candidate will be responsible for establishing relationships with architects, consultants, project management consultants, builders, developers, contractors and other key decision-makers to ensure Alumaze Elite products are approved and specified in upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify upcoming residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Architects, Consultants, PMC/EPC Companies, Builders and Developers.
- Promote and obtain technical/product approvals for Alumaze Elite ACP.
- Ensure Alumaze Elite products are included in project specifications, BOQs and tender documents.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for architects and consultants.
- Explain product features, technical specifications, fire ratings, certifications, applications and performance benefits.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Technical, Production and Marketing teams for project-related requirements.
- Prepare and submit technical documents, product data sheets, test certificates, certifications and samples required for approvals.
- Track the complete approval cycle from project identification specification approval BOQ tender order conversion.
- Maintain an updated database of architects, consultants, builders, developers and active projects.
- Monitor competitor products and specifications and develop strategies to position Elite as the preferred product.
- Conduct regular project visits and follow up with key stakeholders.




- Coordinate with the sales team to hand over approved projects and support order conversion.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on project pipeline, approvals, specifications and conversion status.
- Achieve assigned targets for new approvals, project specifications and project value/potential SFT.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Number of recent architect/consultant approvals.
- Number and value of projects specified with Alumaze Elite.
- Project pipeline generated through specifications.
- Conversion of approved projects into sales.
- Number of new architect/consultant relationships developed.
- Project follow-up and reporting accuracy.
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly project targets.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good technical understanding of ACP / faade / cladding / building materials.
- Ability to understand and explain technical specifications.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Good negotiation and follow-up abilities.
- Project tracking and pipeline management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and basic CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for project and client visits.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Graduate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, MBA Sales/Marketing or a related field.
- Experience in ACP, faade, aluminium, building materials, construction chemicals, glass, roofing, flooring or similar building-product industries will be preferred.
- Prior experience working with architects, consultants, builders, developers or project sales will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with strong connections among architects and consultants in the Chennai market will be preferred.
