We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to drive high-value commercial contracting, strategic regulatory compliance, and cross-functional risk governance. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in corporate law, complex deal negotiations, and stakeholder management to safeguard company interests across commercial and manufacturing operations.

Role Overview

Leading legal risk management, high-value commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and factory litigation oversight within the rapid-paced Indian EV sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial Contracting: Draft, review, and negotiate complex, high-stakes commercial contracts, strategic supply chain partnerships, vendor frameworks, and NDAs.
- Risk & Regulatory Strategy: Partner directly with finance, procurement, and operations leaders to mitigate legal risk and ensure strict regulatory adherence across EV manufacturing and retail operations.
- Factory Compliance & Litigation:



Oversee factory legal compliance frameworks and manage ongoing disputes, litigation matters, and external counsel relationships.
- Contract Governance: Drive the legal repository framework, standardizing contract templates and streamlining organizational contract management workflows.
- Strategic Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a key legal partner to internal executive leadership, key vendor counterparties, and external partners; liaise with external legal counsel and relevant regulatory bodies on corporate and operational matters.

Key Qualifications & Skills

- LL.B. or LL.M. with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the automotive, manufacturing, or EV sectors.
- Notice Period: Immediate joiners or short-notice candidates preferred.
- Extensive experience handling complex commercial transactions, contract negotiation, and factory-level legal compliance in India in a law firm or corporate.
- Sharp risk management, analytical, and stakeholder negotiation skills.
