The Role
Own PR and media relations across United Group and its brands. Build the Group's media presence, develop direct relationships with journalists and editors, and turn business developments and leadership perspectives into credible editorial coverage.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already has a working media network, and a record of securing earned coverage.

What You Will Own

- Own corporate PR and media relations across the Group's brands, working closely with business and marketing teams.
- Build and maintain direct relationships with journalists and editors across business, real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, architecture and B2B media.
- Identify opportunities for coverage: features, interviews, expert commentary, opinion pieces and industry stories.
- Proactively pitch business milestones, leadership perspectives and industry insight to the right publications.
- Run press releases and media interactions from brief to published coverage.
- Build the external profile of Group leadership and founding members across business and industry platforms.
- Manage the LinkedIn presence and qualified communication of key management and founding members.
- Secure interviews, podcasts,



panels and thought-leadership features, and develop the themes behind them.
- Be the internal point of contact for the Group's PR agencies, briefing them on priorities and announcements.
- Track agency deliverables against expected outcomes, and judge independently whether an opportunity is worth taking.
- Maintain the PR calendar, journalist database and coverage tracker, and report on visibility and outcomes.
- What You Bring
5 to 10 years in corporate communications, public relations or media relations.
Preference for candidates from established PR agencies, corporate or commercial real estate, or B2B organisations.
An established, working network of journalists, editors and publications.
Proof of meaningful editorial coverage secured independently, not paid or promotional placement.
Experience briefing and managing PR agencies and external partners.
Command of both traditional and digital PR.
Clear writing, and the ability to turn a business development into a story an editor wants to run.
Comfortable working independently across multiple brands and stakeholders.

Leadership profiling and LinkedIn management experience is an adva

ntage.
